Today the national weather service (KNMI) ordered a code orange in most parts of The Netherlands. This was due the fact that a massive line of thunderstorms was entering the country from the South.
As you can see, it pretty much covered the whole country from East to West. We could see it coming on the online weather radar for a good few hours before it finally made its way to my city. The only open field I could think of was the airport and so I went there to try and catch the cloud formations as they rolled in.
